Lukas Lisowski
The interest for education/studies/research abroad was born during his thesis trajectory and following his Orthopedic Training in The Netherlands, he followed a trauma fellowship in trauma at the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh (UK) and an orthopedic fellowship in knee and hip arthroplasty at the Nuffield Orthopedic Centre in Oxford (UK). During this he was involved with the development of the unicondylar Oxford Microplasty mini invasive prosthesis which has led to numerous presentations and publications in this field.
Return to the Netherlands in 2010 he started a new position as an Orthopedic Consultant at the BovenIJ Hospital in Amsterdam and is working there since. He is a member of the Dutch Orthopaedic Society (named NOV) as a registered knee specialist and is performing knee arthroplasty and knee ligamentous repair procedures.
